How do the Provincial Nominee Programs work with the Express Entry immigration selection system?

Provinces and territories are able to nominate a certain number of candidates through the Express Entry system to meet local and provincial labor market needs. These portions of the PNPs are known as “enhanced” nominations.

Candidates in the Express Entry pool who obtain an enhanced nomination from a province are awarded 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System, out of a possible total of 1,200. When these additional points are added to a candidate’s human capital and skills transferability points, it will result in an invitation to apply for permanent residence at a subsequent draw from the Express Entry pool.

All candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of one of the following federal economic immigration programs in order to enter and be selected from the Express Entry pool Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Provinces and territories may add additional criteria for their own immigration streams.

Depending on the province, candidates eligible to enter the Express Entry pool may either enter the pool first and then be nominated by a province or territory, or be nominated by a province or territory before completing an online Express Entry profile and entering the Express Entry pool.

When you complete the online payment form, funds will be deducted from your debit / credit card in CAD currency. All payments are debited to Masha Immigration. Due to the way transactions are processed by the external banking sites, there may be delays of 1-3 days in updating your payment in Masha Immigration records.

Debit / Credit card payments are secured:

> Debit / Credit card numbers are protected with a high level of encryption when transmitted over the Internet.
> Masha Immigration does not store in any way your debit / credit card details.

Confirmation:

> If successful, you will receive a confirmation notice of your completed payment.
> If unsuccessful, you will be advised that your payment has failed. Masha Immigration will not be advised why a payment has failed; therefore, you should contact your debit / credit card provider for details.
> If your payment fails, please use one of the other payment methods described on your retainer agreement last page to pay your invoice. Please arrange an alternative payment method promptly to ensure continuous use of Masha Immigration services.
> Masha Immigration will confirm your payment details via email.

By using Masha Immigration’s online debit / credit card facilities, you accept and consent to your personal data being provided to the Service Provider for sole purpose of offering and administering the online payment.
